The ViewTite® Nut-Side Self-Indicator allows for a bolt to be properly tensioned and visually verified. ViewTite® self-indicators are manufactured with patented horseshoe protrusions, filled with a special elastomer. As the bolt is tightened, the protrusions are compressed. As the bolt reaches the proper tension, the elastomer is extruded and becomes visually apparent on multiple sides of the indicator. When you see green, you know your bolts are properly tensioned and you can move on to the next bolt!
